Flu Vaccination Has Started at SILK Medical

SILK Medical now offers the VAXIGRIP® TETRA vaccine — an inactivated quadrivalent vaccine designed to prevent influenza caused by type A and B viruses, for adults and children from 6 months of age. The vaccine reduces the risk of illness and complications, especially during the cold season.

Who is it for:

• Adults — single dose before the flu season.
• Children from 6 months — as recommended by a pediatrician (for first-time vaccination under 8 years old, 2 doses are given).
• Approved for pregnant women — safely protects both mother and baby.

Best time for vaccination: Autumn (September – November), before the start of the flu epidemic season. Immunity develops within 10–14 days after vaccination.
