SILK Medical – Sponsor of the 20th World Congress on Human Reproduction
From September 18 to 21, Tbilisi hosted the 20th World Congress on Human Reproduction — one of the largest international events in the field of reproductive medicine.
The Congress is held every two years under the auspices of the International Academy of Human Reproduction. Its mission is to promote the exchange of knowledge, clinical experience, and best practices, to advance scientific research in the areas of reproduction, fertility, infertility, and family planning, as well as to address the ethical and social implications of reproductive medicine and biology.
This year, the capital of Georgia brought together more than 700 participants and 35 international speakers from around the world. Among them were physicians from SILK Medical, which acted as one of the sponsors of the event and an active contributor to the scientific program.

Doctors from the IVF Department presented reports on modern approaches to infertility treatment and reproductive health preservation.
The Head of the IVF Department and Medical Director of the clinic, Dr. Nino Maisuradze, delivered a presentation titled “Follicular Fluid: Window into Oocyte Health and IVF Success”, dedicated to the role of follicular fluid in IVF outcomes.

For SILK Medical specialists, participation in the Congress is an opportunity to enhance professional qualifications, exchange experience, and contribute to strengthening Georgia’s reputation as a country with an advanced level of reproductive medicine.
After all, it was here, a quarter of a century ago, that the first IVF-conceived baby in the entire Transcaucasian region was born, and reproductive medicine was officially recognized as an independent medical discipline.
